The FIFA Women’s World Cup is set to bring a major tourism boost for Australia and New Zealand next year with the tournament expected to draw tens of thousands of international supporters.

“With over a billion viewers expected to watch games at home from across the words, it will also support brand building for New Zealand as a world-class destination,” New Zealand Minister for Tourism Stuart Nash told Sky News Australia in a statement.
