There is a growing threat of intervention with China and Taiwan as Perth USAsia Centre CEO Gordon Flake says there is a “closing window of opportunity for China to move militarily on this front”.
Mr Flake said this threat arises from the recognition of the fundamental changing “balance of power” between China and Taiwan.
