Western Australia’s $1.86 billion METRONET Airport Line has been officially opened by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Premier Mark McGowan.
“This is a historic day,” Mr McGowan said.
“This will be a piece of infrastructure that will last for centuries to come, and will meet the needs of the people of Perth and Western Australia for a very long period into the future.”
