An NSW trial of a cashless gaming digital wallet has started in Newcastle in an attempt to cut out problematic gambling and money laundering.
There are 200 members of West Newcastle that can now download an app which will be preloaded with a cash amount that can connect to machines via Bluetooth.
The trial has received support from ClubsNSW.
