The most “emotional moment” of the AFL Grand Final was after the match when Geelong’s water boy, Sam Moorfoot, was gifted a medal by one of the team’s star players, says Sky News host Chris Smith.
Mr Moorfoot, who has Down syndrome, was helped over the barrier by Geelong Captain Joel Selwood.
“He was helped over the barrier and onto the MCG where Jeremy Cameron put his own medal around Sam’s neck, in a scene that brought the house down,” Mr Smith said.
“Beautiful stuff, how good was that.”
