Pauline Hanson’s Chief of Staff James Ashby says the Opposition in Victoria is “really weak”.
“I’m afraid to say he (Matthew Guy) doesn’t inspire me as a conservative,” he told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“Now I’m not from Victoria, but conservatives here in Queensland certainly wouldn’t be putting their hand up to vote for a bloke who’s just come out just last month to legislate a 50 per cent reduction in carbon dioxide emissions in a state like Victoria.”
