Australia’s largest business and union groups have agreed upon a set of common goals and interests ahead of the Job and Skills Summit to be held in Canberra on Thursday.
Division remains over the contentious issue of multi-employer bargaining as the unions take a proposal to the summit for multi-employer bargaining right across the economy.
This would allow unions to strike pay deals to cover multiple employers and multiple companies beyond just single enterprise bargaining agreements.
