
There’s been another setback for the royals opposed to Amazulu King Misuzulu kaZwelithini’s reign. Today the Pietermaritzburg High Court struck off the roll an urgent application by two princesses to interdict the pre-coronation ceremony taking place in Nongoma in northern KwaZulu-Natal.
The significant rituals to usher in the new Monarch onto the throne began last night. It involves the introduction of the new monarch to the ancestors in a kraal. The court said the matter was not urgent.
