Water challenges remain a daily battle for some residents in the Nelson Mandela Bay metro in the Eastern Cape.
Some residents accuse the municipality of doing too little to address the matter.
Certain areas in the Metro have gone without water for as long as three months, while others struggle with constant water leaks which have become a health hazard in many communities.
The metro is facing one of the worst droughts in its history, with dam levels that have dropped drastically.
Water leaks are another major concern and about 5 000 were repaired in July alone.
