Cypress College Political Science Professor Peter Mathews says the Democrats “feel” they “finally accomplished something” as the Senate passed inflation reduction legislation.
Mr Matthews said the Democrats have majority in the Senate and US House of Representatives.
“If they came out empty-ended … the voters would have punished them in the midterm elections,” he told Sky News Australia.
“Inflation is a huge problem.”
