Liberal Senator Jim Molan says there has been “tension” between US President Joe Biden and Chinese leader Xi Jinping, following a recent phone call between the two leaders.
The leaders conducted a two-hour phone call, with the Chinese President warning the United States amid concerns over Taiwan.
“I think that this is really a manifestation of the frustration that China feels,” Mr Molan told Sky News Australia.
“American has not changed,” he said.
