Thousands of workers at Tiger Brand’s Langeberg and Ashton Foods canning factory have been given a temporary reprieve from the factory’s imminent closure. This after an agreement to keep the business running for the upcoming 2022/ 2023 season.
Concern had been mounting in recent weeks, when the company announced that it had not managed to secure a buyer, since taking the decision two years ago to exit the business.
