11 287 girls in schools across Limpopo’s five districts are pregnant and some teachers and older men are said to be responsible for most of these pregnancies. A report was released by the South African Council of Educators (SACE) that eleven teachers were fired after it was discovered they impregnated students. These were found guilty of many different charges related to sexual offences. To discuss this we are now joined via Zoom by South African Council of Educators Ethics Manager, George Morwasi.
