The newly elected council of the Mandela Bay theatre complex say they look forward to using their expertise to grow the arts in the Eastern Cape.
Their aim is also to give artists at grass roots level a chance to showcase their talent on a bigger stage. The council was formed after the former board of the then Opera House was dissolved.
