Parties divided on Acting PP's withdrawal of funding in cases involving Mkhwebane

There are mixed reactions from some of the Political parties in parliament on the decision of the Office of the Public Protector to withdraw the funding of court cases involving suspended Public Protector Adv Busisiwe Mkhwebane. Some have welcomed the decision arguing that Mkhwebane has already spent more than 60 million rand in legal costs for her reports being taken on review as well as against her investigation for fitness to hold office. Others say the decision taken by the Acting Public Protector is misguided.
