British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has resigned. The embattled leader was under pressure to resign after his tenure in office was marred by scandals. Johnson has also announced another cabinet that will serve with him until the new leader is elected. A new Conservative leader is expected to take over once the party holds its conference.
