
The National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa is warning that the country’s vehicle manufacturing capacity may be eroded if policy does not change. The association’s chief executive addressed the Southern African Transport Conference in Pretoria. He says new energy vehicles are becoming the road-transport mode of choice, and South Africa is being left behind.
