More than 250 people have been left homeless after a fire spread through an informal settlement in Grabouw in the Overberg. The fire broke out at the Elgin Fruit Juices factory, spread to the adjacent Gaffley’s Transport Services and then jumped across the road to the Waterworks informal settlement.
