Former President Thabo Mbeki delivers inaugural Kenneth Kaunda lecture

Former President Thabo Mbeki says the late Zambian founding father, Kenneth Kaunda, left an indelible mark on the fight against Apartheid and colonialism. Mbeki delivered the inaugural Kenneth Kaunda memorial lecture in Lusaka. Kaunda passed away at age 97 in 2021. He was one of the last remaining giants of the African liberation struggle in the past century. Kaunda was Zambian President from 1964 to 1991.
