SASCOC’s struggle to resurrect its Operation Excellence programme continues. Opex is meant to fund medal hopefuls and help them prepare for multi-sport events like the Olympics and Paralympics. The programme was put on hold in the build-up to the Tokyo Games. Despite numerous assurances that a relaunch was imminent, including by the first half of this year, this is yet to happen. #DStv403
