The Democratic Alliance, wants the United States FBI to investigate allegations of possible money laundering by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
DA leader, John Steenhuisen says this is part of holding the president accountable. This follows the alleged theft of millions of foreign currency at the President’s farm. Former spy boss Arthur Fraser laid a criminal charge against president Ramaphosa regarding the 2020 alleged robbery at his Phala Phala farm.
Ottilia Maunganidze, head of special projects in the office of the Executive Director at the Institute for Security Studies, on the DA’s plan to involve the FBI.
