Parliament still appears to be far from reaching a consensus on making key changes to the electoral law, to allow independent candidates to enter its ranks. The Constitutional Court has given it an extension until December to make the amendments. Home Affairs Minister, Aaron Motsoaledi, has now proposed a workshop to help break the deadlock on the sticking points.
