She is classically-trained in Jazz, but it was her love of dance and soul that has granted her success with hit singles such as Til The Tide and Against The Grain. Born Bongiwe Mpanza but known in the music circles as BONJ, the Soweto born singer and songwriter is becoming a force to reckon with earning her a SAMA Nomination in the process. BONJ will perform at the Aluta Nova Festival of Museums next Saturday alongside Kid Fonque and Urban Village and she joins us now to tell us more.
