The civil case between Afriforum and the EFF was back in the South Gauteng High Court for closing arguments. The lobby group seeks a declaratory order that the ‘Kill the Boer’ song constitutes hate speech. It approached the court after people, believed to be EFF members, sang the controversial song outside court in the Free State in 2020.
