Two innovate grade 10 learners win South African Youth Water prize

Two grade 10 learners from George in the Western Cape have scooped top place in a national competition held by the Department of Water and Sanitation. They won the the South African Youth Water Prize for inventing a device for saving water, drop by drop. Both will represent South Africa in Sweden in August, at the Stockholm International Water Institute, where they will compete with learners from 30 countries.
