This week President Cyril Ramaphosa suspended Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane. And now Freedom Under Law says it hopes this will encourage the Judicial Service Commission to take similar action against Western Cape Judge President John Hlophe. The Judicial Service Commission found Hlophe guilty of gross misconduct after studying evidence that he lobbied two justices of the Constitutional Court in favour of former president, Jacob Zuma.
