
Nigeria’s Interior Minister Rauf Aregbesola says that the country’s armed forces are on the hunt for the perpetrators that carried out a massacre in a Catholic church on Sunday in which 40 people were killed. He was speaking after a National Security Council meeting on Thursday in the capital Abuja. He blamed the the Islamic State West Africa Province armed group for carrying out the attack. However, the armed group has yet to claim responsibility. Meanwhile, in another incident Bandits on motorcycles killed 32 people and set fire to houses in several villages in the Kajura area of Nigeria’s northern Kaduna state on Sunday.
