The Department of Tourism says that it’s unfortunate that COMAIR has folded at a time when the local industry appears to be picking up, and just ahead of key school and international summer holidays. This follows Comair’s business rescue practitioners deciding to file for liquidation. The Department says COMAIR closure would have a negative impact on the local tourism industry in the short-term.
