Human rights activists have called on President Cyril Ramaphosa to put a moratorium on farm evictions until there is a proper housing policy in place for farm workers. Women on Farms Projects say farm evictions are likely to increase now that the National State of Disaster has been lifted. They also called for the total ban of harmful pesticides which cause cancer, skin rashes and asthma to farm workers.
