KZN Floods | State of Qatar donates humanitarian aid to KwaZulu-Natal

The State of Qatar has donated humanitarian aid to KwaZulu-Natal. The province has been worst affected, facing two massive flooding events. Ministers of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, International Relation Naledi Pandor and Social Development Lindiwe Zulu along with Mxolisi Kaunda, received the aid and also briefed the media on interventions and the response to recent floods. Dlamini-Zuma says the Qatari aid will help relocate displaced residents out of crowded shelters to more temporary residential shelters on safe land. Ambassador of the State of Qatar to South Africa, H.E. Tariq Ali Faraj, donated the humanitarian aid.
