
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz arrives in South Africa on Tuesday in the final leg of his first Africa tour which also saw him visit Senegal and Niger. In a meeting with Senegal’s President Macky Sall on Sunday, he spoke of his country’s interest in the exploitation of the rich natural gas deposits in Senegal.
