Military Veterans in the Free State will today march to the premier’s office to hand over a memorandum of their demands. They demand that widows and orphans of late military veterans be recognised and given full access to all benefits. They say many military veterans are destitute and need jobs and other opportunities that will enhance their livelihoods and social standing.
Veterans also say they need access to health care services for veterans without having to travel to 3 military hospital for medical attention.
