Residents of Dannhauser, in Northern Kwazulu-Natal, are calling for all coal mining activities to be stopped in the area.They claim years of extraction left water and river streams polluted, while their land was poisoned, preventing them from feeding their cattle or growing crops.The recent heavy rainfall in Kwazulu-Natal also had a disastrous effect.
