Research conducted by the International Labour Organisation has found that the upfront cost of child labour elimination is estimated at around 760 billion dollars. It says that every dollar invested in child labour elimination brings a return of nearly seven dollars. The 5th global conference on the elimination of child labour explored how to mobilise financial resources to make the generational investment required.
