
Taxi associations and their members operating in Rustenburg in the North West have raised concern about what seems to be the stalling of the Rustenburg Rapid Bus Transport Project. As part of the process of kick-starting the R3.4 billion project, affected taxi operators were to be paid R1.3 million. Construction delays and logistical issues have seen the project grind to a halt.
