Various departments tabled their budget votes in parliament this week which were followed by debates.The budget votes are an opportunity for departments to outline how they intend to spend budgets allocated to them.
This also gives the oversight committee the opportunity to assess whether promises made previously were kept and taxpayers’ money spent properly.
