A delegation of priests sent by Pope Francis of the Roman Catholic Church has donated food parcels to communities in Durban affected by the floods.
Thousands of people in KwaZulu-Natal were displaced after their homes were damaged.
Durban was the most affected with an estimated cost of the floods standing at R20 billion.
