
The already burdened healthcare sector is facing more challenges with a shortage of nurses in facilities. As the world commemorates international nurses day, locally it’s being used to highlight the challenges the industry faces. The industry needs over 20 000 more feet in scrubs to meet current demands. The private healthcare sector is calling on government to shift training regulations to fill these gaps.
