The newly elected leadership of the ANC in the Eastern Cape has committed to prioritise the challenges faced by the people of the province. The chairperson, Oscar Mabuyane, his deputy, Mlungisi Mvoko and the secretary and deputy secretary, Lulama Ngcukayitobi and Helen Sauls August were all re-elected during the 9th provincial elective conference held in East London. The conference also elected a new provincial treasurer, Zolile Williams from the Joe Gqabi Region.
