Oscar Mabuyane has been re-elected as the chairperson of the ANC in the Eastern Cape. Mabuyane received 812 votes, defeating Babalo Madikizela who only secured 662 votes. Mlungisi Mvoko is the provincial deputy chair and Lulama Ngcukaitobi, provincial secretary. At the same time, Helen August received 805 votes to secure the position of deputy provincial secretary. While Zolile Williams has been elected provincial treasurer after securing 799 votes, beating Andile Lungisa.
