The verification report for the 9th elective conference in the Eastern Cape has been signed off.
1 500 delegates from 614 branches are taking part in the conference.
Meanwhile, several ANC members in the Dr WB Rubusana Region in the Eastern Cape headed to court in a bid to interdict the conference. They’re claiming irregularities occurred in the preparation of the provincial conference. They also allege that branches in the WB Rubusana Metro registered for the conference despite an April court order preventing this. The provincial conference is in full swing with judgment expected at 5 o’clock afternoon.
