Public Protector Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane wants the Hawks to consider a possible criminal investigation against SARS Accounting officers who rewarded an irregular tender to a company named Budge, Barone & Dominick. Mkhwebane investigated the appointment of BB and D after complaints of an irregular tender awarded to the company over a decade ago. She found that SARS tender processes were violated in the appointment of BB and D.The Public Protector released her findings on the probe during a media briefing in Pretoria.
