Thabo Masebe laid to rest

Former ANC Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe has described the late Thabo Masebe’s generation of young lions of the Youth League, as having earned the respect and admiration of the 1944 founding generation of the league.
Masebe, a former acting Director-General in the office of the Gauteng premier, was accorded a Special Provincial Official funeral for his contribution to the liberation struggle and service to the country.
His Young Lions generation was loved by, and approved of, by the first secretary of the ANCYL, the late Oliver Reginald Tambo.
They declared Freedom or death, Victory is certain against the Apartheid regime.
Masebe formed part of this glorious generation that made South Africa ungovernable and ushered in freedom.
