
The delegation attending the South Africa-Botswana Bi-National Commission meeting in Pretoria observed a moment of silence, to honour all those who died in the KwaZulu-Natal floods.
International Relations and Cooperation Minister Naledi Pandor hosted her Botswana counterpart Lemogang Kwape. Gaborone and Pretoria are looking at ways to boost their economies after the devastating period due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, the court in Botswana has slapped former President Ian Khama with charges for illegal possession of firearms. Khama is reportedly exiled in South Africa.
