
The South African National Defence Force is assessing areas that have been hard hit by last week’s devastating floods. Over 10 000 soldiers have been deployed to work on the ground in assisting communities. The SANDF will be working with police to provide assistance and help build temporary structures. We are now joined on Zoom by the Chief Director for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs in KwaZulu-Natal, Nonala Ndlovu to give us an update on the work done in the province following the devastation.
