Motorists in the Northern Cape have been left stranded after the Provincial Department of Roads and Public Works closed the R31 road between Kimberley and Barkley West. The road was closed due to floods following heavy rainfall. Authorities say the water level rose to worrying levels.
Provincial Traffic Officers are on-site to monitor the water levels.
