
The Nelson Mandela Foundation has pledged to provide relief aid to victims of floods in KwaZulu-Natal. The floods have been declared a provincial disaster. More than 400 people died during the recent serious flooding.
The Foundation is this morning visiting the Illembe district.
The district is the second hardest-hit region in Kwazulu-Natal from the floods. Residents are expected to receive relief in the form of food and blankets. SABC News reporter Vusi Khumalo is on the ground.
