At least one-thousand-two hundred people have been displaced after a fire swept through an informal settlement in Langa in Cape Town. A Joint Operations Centre has been set up in the area to coordinate relief and recovery efforts. Approximately 300 structures were destroyed in the fire.
It was one of three fires that occurred in Langa on Saturday during which one person died.
