Members of the South African Coloured Corps Forum (SACC) have taken their fight for recognition as a military veterans organisation to the high court in the Western Cape.
The former Cape Corps were recruited mainly within the Coloured community as part of the South African Defence Force prior to 1994.
They say they were denied benefits which include housing and education subsidies.
