Residents of Maiden Farm at Mthatha in the Eastern Cape have accused King Sabatha Dalindyebo Municipality of unfair billing.
This, after scores of unemployed residents and grant beneficiaries, were disconnected from the municipal power grid for owing thousands of rands. The residents say the KSD municipality doesn’t provide the services that they are billing for.
Some residents say they’ve occupied Government Subsidised Houses for more than five years, but billing statements were only given to them a year ago.
